Onboarding

1: Offer Stage
1.1. Please return a signed copy of the Employment Contract & Offer Letter.
1.2. Provide a copy of your Passport and/or U.K. Right to Work for verification (an in-person verification will be conducted prior to your first day with the Bank).
1.3. Please share copies of your proof of address documentation (utility bill, bank statement, credit card statement from the past three months, or a valid driving license. All documentation to detail your full name and full address).
1.4. Please provide any additional documentation which will support your right to work in the U.K.

2: Background Checks
2.1. Once your signed employment contract and offer letter is received, the next step is to begin our background checks.
2.2. HR will confirm to you that an email from the background screening vendor has been shared to your personal email address. Please note, the link sent to you expires after 72 hours and requires for you to start the process as soon as possible.
2.3. Please provide all required information requested.
2.4. Your recruitment contact will keep you updated, but please feel free to to follow up on the progress of your background screen.

3: New Hire System & Documents
3.1. You will receive an introduction email from the HR team, including your Employee HR System login details, new hire paperwork and company policy documents to review and return signed.
3.2. This is typically followed by a request to come in to our office for your passport verification onboarding check.
3.3. Please note, the forms are time-sensitive, so it is important to sign and return them as soon as possible. Any delay could push back your start date.

4: Start Date
4.1. Once the background checks are complete and cleared by the bank, your start date will be then confirmed.
4.2. Our HR Advisor will set up your profile for payroll. Please note, all forms must be collected by your start date including tax forms, identification and bank details information.
4.3. Once you are set up on the Banks Employee HR System, your HR contact will confirm your start date and provide all required information ahead of your first day.

5: First 90 Days
5.1. Onboarding is a prime time to ask questions about the Bank, team and your role.
5.2. Below are some example questions to consider. Your HR contact or recruiter will most likely include this information during onboarding, but don’t hesitate to ask if it is missed.

Example Q2: What is the pay schedule?
Example Q3: What is the process for requesting time off?
