Overview:
As part of the Financial Systems & Data Governance team, support the maintenance and development of ABCIB’s IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) system to meet new business requirements and improve existing processes. The role requires building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service across the bank, working closely with Finance, IT and Group colleagues.
TM1 is an essential application for the bank used for management reporting, planning and analysis across Europe with Senior Management, Finance, Group and the business relying on it as a trusted source for ABCIB’s data and ever-evolving information requirements.
The TM1 environment is going through a period of significant change, and this role is critical for enabling Finance’s MI, reporting and planning deliverables, ensuring TM1’s data is available, accurate, complete and consistent. The role will support the transition to new cubes, improve data alignment with Group and expand TM1 applications to a wider audience.
The role is also expected to support end users with TM1 queries and advanced reporting builds, follow appropriate IT policies and maintain documentation.
What You Will Be Doing:
Support Financial Systems team with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) development projects
Maintain and document TM1 model, including rules, processes and dimensions.
Work with internal customers to understand and translate requirements into TM1 solutions
Support from a systems perspective Finance’s regular planning and reporting cycles, making full use of TM1’s capabilities to automate and streamline processes
Support business and TM1 users with complex ad-hoc TM1 queries
Support optimization of TM1 system architecture as resource requirements grow
Support IT Operations team with monitoring of daily automated TM1 data loads, troubleshooting and fixing TM1 process issues
Support TM1 testing of output from upstream system upgrades and implementations
Maintain TM1 user access via joiners, movers and leavers process
Train TM1 user base and Finance Systems team by sharing relevant knowledge, tips and techniques and providing documentation where necessary.
Candidate Specification:
IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) application development: cubes, dimensions, rules and processes.
Excel and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE) advanced user
Cubewise Arc for TM1
Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
SQL, MDX, VBA
Financial planning, reporting and analysis
Power BI model and dashboard development
Qualified Accountant (preferable)
Minimum 2 years TM1 development experience on IBM Planning Analytics v2+ software. Within the Financial Services sector ideal
Self-motivated and ability to work independently, articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team ethic
